1. Coleman Instant Cabin Tent
Coleman is one of the most well-respected outdoor gear brands. They represent high quality and good value for money. They also have a tent for all occasions, but their instant cabin is one of the best 4-person cabin tents on the market.
The tent measures 8×7 feet, making it one of the largest 4-person tents. Now, this will allow more space for small families, but it also means the tent doesn’t pack down as small as some others. It has a weight of nearly 20lbs and packs-down to just under 4feet in length.
As an instant tent, this tent can be erected in under a minute! Although, when you first un-box the tent, it’ll take a minute or two extra.
In regards to its weather protection, the tent has taped seams and a tub style bottom with double thick fabric. So if you’re worried about keeping out water, you’ll have plenty of protection. The only downside is that the tent doesn’t come with a rainfly.

Alongside this large living space, the tent also includes an 11 square foot vestibule, which is part of the rainfly. These features make this tent perfect for small families or groups of friends who want to travel light.
As we just mentioned, this tent has a high-quality rainfly. The tent also has fully-sealed seams and a full mesh upper ceiling. These features make this 3-season tent perfect for camping in both rainy and humid weather.
The tent comes with a bunch of extra too! It has multiple internal storage pockets and comes with clips for a gear loft, which is ideal for storing your equipment.
3. Coleman Sundome 4-Person Tent
At 9×7 feet in size, this is another well-sized tent. With that said, it packs down to an impressive 24x6x6 inches and weighs only 8lbs.
In our opinion, this is our best-value 4-person tent. It has an impressive build that far outweighs the cost. This build holds strong in harsh weather, with a large rainfly, sealed seams, and tub style floor. When the weather heats up, you’ll enjoy theadditional bottom bent. You can also use the cord port to power a fan if you need it.
With no vestibule and little in the way of storage options, this isn’t recommended for people who camp with huge amounts of gear. With that said, the tent multiple mesh pockets. To sum up, this is a great all-rounder that shouldn’t break the bank!
4. Coleman Pop-Up Tent
Here we with another instant from Coleman. If you want a tent that pops-up when removed from the bag, this is the one for you. This is especially useful when unpacking in a hurry, like if it’s raining. All you have to do is remove the tent and let it do its thing. In fact, all you have to do is clip on your rainfly and stake it down. This can take just 30 seconds!

We also love how the waterproof tent has customizable ventilation. In fact, the door zippers and rainfly can be completely adjusted, allowing users to create the perfect environment. To sum up, if you hate the camping set-up time, this is the one for you.

This tent measures 8.5×7.5 feet, which is enough for 4 people. The two vestibules greatly expand your storage space, which allows users to safely store a small amount of gear. The Taurus weighs almost 11lbs, which is slightly heavier than the other tents in this review.
Unlike other small tents, the Taurus has two doors, which is great for accessibility. Other features include multiple storage pockets and a gear loft to further improve its comfortable living conditions.
